Before entering the ministry, he was a college basketball player. He was the captain of the College of Central Florida’s basketball team which was the #1 junior college basketball team in the nation at the time. After an encounter with God at 19 years old, he heard God strongly speak to him to give up his basketball scholarships to help people pursue a deeper relationship with Him and to start preaching the gospel to all nations. In obedience, he gave up his basketball career and followed after the call. His life has been marked by sacrifice. He preaches and walks with an undeniable burden to bring hope to every age, nationality, and background.
After traveling for over a decade on over 200 flights every year, he heard the same voice of God speak to him to start a church in Orlando, FL. Orlando was Pastor Jackson’s most traveled to city, he could not shake the burden from God. Pastor Jackson has a heart to serve and to help others experience the same encounter with Jesus Christ that transformed him and changed the trajectory of his life. He strives to walk in the power of unconditional love by looking to Jesus as the ultimate example to follow. His wife Luisa and son James Asher have traveled with him extensively, they have always done ministry together as a family. In September 2023 God gave them a beautiful daughter, Mia Victoria. Together they are thankful for the opportunity to serve the community as a family.
